Magnetic nanoparticles

Magnetic nanoparticles are currently in the focus of intense research activities. This is not only due to their use in practical applications e.g. as theranostic agents in medicine or as ferrofluids in engineering technologies, but also due to their role as fundamental model systems for nanoscale phenomena.
