Topological and superconducting quantum devices - AG Schüffelgen

About

Our group is involved in various projects on quantum technologies. The focus of our research here is on the development of novel materials, e.g. topological insulators, and the integration of these in quantum devices such as Josephson junctions and transmon qubits.

Research Topics

  • Growth, simulation and characterization of topological insulators
  • Hybrid structures of topological insulators and superconductors
  • Novel materials and growth methods
  • Topological quantum computers
