MajoranaChips

In this project, networks of topological insulators and superconducting structures will be fabricated to produce robust quantum bits based on Majorana modes.

Building blocks for quantum computing based on typological materials with experimental and theoretical approaches.

In this project, devices based on topological materials are being researched. Here, our focus is on the development of theoretical models that will help in the development and understanding of these devices.

MAGMA

The central aspect of this project is the exploration of magnetically doped topological insulators in combination with superconductivity. Such structures are promising candidates for platforms for topological quantum computing.

TLE4HSQ

The goal of the project is to combine our shadow mask technology with the new technology of thermal oil fiber epitaxy to explore new material systems and fabricate high quality superconducting qubits.

ML4Q

ML4Q is a cluster of excellence established in 2019 to lay the foundations for a comprehensive quantum technology with computational and networking capabilities.

QSOLID

The goal of the project is to build a German quantum computer. The PGI-9 provides the ultra-high vacuum equipment for the construction of superconducting qubits.

QNL

This project involves the construction of a scanning tunneling microscope for the study of Majorana modes. The PGI-9 is not a direct applicant, but supports the PGI-3 in sample fabrication and characterization.
