Outstation at the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum (MLZ)

JCNS currently operates 11 neutron scattering instruments at the MLZ in close cooperation with its partners.

Our mission is to offer world-class instrumentation at the best neutron sources for a wide spectrum of scientific fields. These instruments are continuously optimized to address future needs and attract the best users.

The results of experiments performed in many different fields of science could make important contributions to address the grand challenges facing modern society. In addition, two more instruments are in the construction phase to offer an even wider spectrum of experimental possibilities.
