Functional imaging

Functional imaging with magnetic resonance tomography allows studying activation patterns of the human brain while participants are engaged in a specific task. This shows which regions of the brain are involved in specific processing mechanisms. Further statistical analysis of the data can also shed light on how different areas function together as a network.
