The staff of the Administrative Infrastructure division supports the scientific divisions and the directorate of JSC in all questions and aspects, that are beyond their research activities within the Helmholtz programme and within the more than 70 third-party projects.

The wide variety of tasks ranges from the personel and finance administration via the ordering system to the support service of guests and visitors. Moreover, the organization of numerous business trips, which are necessary in an internationally active institution, is a major task of the team.

Another important task is the handling of development planning, the support of strategic projects as well as the public relations targeted for HPC-relevant communities.
